RoadStars Ventures LLC is a private chauffeur and car service based in Hayden, Idaho. This page explains what we collect when you send an inquiry through this website, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and what happens to it afterwards. We have kept it short and plain.

What we collect

The inquiry form on this site asks for your name, phone number, email address, preferred date and time, pickup location, destination, number of passengers, any luggage or equipment notes, and which service you are interested in. There is also an optional checkbox asking whether we may text you about your request. That is the whole list. The notes field is yours to fill in, so please include only what you are comfortable sharing.

The form also carries a hidden honeypot field that real visitors never see. It is there to catch automated spam. We do not use reCAPTCHA, and the fonts on this site are served from the site itself, so your browser does not have to request them from anyone else.

Why we ask for it

We use these details for one purpose: to reply to you, work out whether we can cover the journey, and give you a price. The pickup and destination details, the timing and the passenger count are what let us check the right vehicle and the right slot in the schedule.

The reason we hold your information is straightforward. You came to us and asked us to quote a journey, so we need your details in order to answer. If you would rather not use the form at all, call or email us and we will take it from there.

Text messages and your consent

The text message checkbox on the inquiry form is optional and is unchecked by default. You never have to tick it. It is not a condition of sending an inquiry, of receiving a quote, or of being carried, and nothing changes for you if you leave it alone.

If you do tick it, the texts you receive from us are about your own request: the inquiry itself, the quote, and service you have scheduled with us, such as a confirmation, a change of time, or a note that your driver is on the way. It is customer care. We do not send marketing blasts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, and reply HELP for help. Mobile information and messaging consent are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

To withdraw your consent, reply STOP to any text from us, or email brandon@roadstars.vip or call 208 909 6599 and ask us to stop texting. We will still be able to reach you by phone or email about a journey you have asked us to arrange.

Who else handles your information

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., and the inquiry form is processed by Netlify Forms. When you press send, your answers are stored in the site’s Netlify dashboard and emailed to us. Netlify handles that data on our behalf as part of hosting the site.

We read and answer those messages from our business email, so a copy of your inquiry also sits in that mailbox as ordinary correspondence.

When website analytics are enabled, RoadStars uses Google Analytics 4, a service from Google LLC, to understand how the site is used. The next section explains what that involves.

If RoadStars later connects a text messaging provider such as Twilio, or its ROSY lead management assistant, this policy will be updated to name it before that service handles your information. Neither one is connected to this site today.

Beyond that, we do not share your inquiry with anyone. We do not sell it, rent it or trade it, and we would only hand information to someone else if the law required us to.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics on this site is optional and only runs when it has been configured. While it is switched off, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is sent anywhere.

When website analytics are enabled, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies in your browser and collects usage information such as the pages you view, an approximate location based on your network, the kind of device you are on, and the site or search that sent you here. It is traffic measurement; we are not trying to work out who you are from it.

If you would rather not be counted, most browsers let you block or clear cookies in their settings, and Google publishes a browser add on for Analytics that opts you out and stops the data being sent. Either choice is fine with us, and neither one affects your inquiry.

How long we keep inquiries

We keep inquiry forms and the emails that go with them for as long as we need them to run the business. In practice that usually means a couple of years after we last heard from you, so that we can pick up where we left off if you come back. After that we delete them.

Where analytics is enabled, that usage information sits with Google under their own retention settings, and it is not tied to your inquiry.

Your information, your call

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct something, or ask us to delete it. Email Brandon at brandon@roadstars.vip or call 208 909 6599 and we will take care of it. If you ask us to delete your details, we will, unless we still need a record of a completed job.

There are no accounts, logins or passwords on this site, and there is no payment processing here. We never collect card details through the website.

Children’s privacy

This site is meant for adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details through the form, contact us and we will remove them.

Changes to this policy, and how to reach us

We may update this policy as the business changes, for example if we add a service provider or change how the inquiry form works. The date shown at the top of this page is the authoritative one; if it has moved, something here has moved with it.
