These terms cover the use of roadstars.vip and the inquiry form on it, and nothing more. RoadStars Ventures LLC is a private chauffeur and car service based in Hayden, Idaho. The terms of a journey or a vehicle rental are set out separately, and there is a section below that says where. If any part of this is unclear, call or email and ask us.

What this website is

This site exists to describe what we do and to let you tell us about a journey you have in mind. Everything on it, including the services, the vehicles and the areas we cover, is general information. It is not an offer, and on its own it does not create a contract.

There is no payment on this site and there are no user accounts. Nothing here reserves a vehicle on the spot. The only thing you can send us from this website is an inquiry.

An inquiry is not a booking

Sending the form tells us what you are looking for. It does not reserve a vehicle, a driver or a time slot. It is not a reservation, and it is not a contract.

A journey is confirmed only once we have come back to you directly, by phone or email, and said so in plain words. Until you have that from us, please do not treat the date as held.

Quotes, availability and pricing

Availability and price are agreed with you directly once we have read your inquiry. Nothing on this website confirms either one. A figure discussed earlier can change if the details of the journey change, for example the timing, the route, waiting time, extra stops or the number of passengers.

We will always confirm the price with you before a journey goes ahead. No surprises, in either direction.

What we need from you

You are responsible for giving us accurate details: the correct pickup address, the time you need to be collected, where you are heading, how many people are travelling, and how much luggage or equipment is coming along.

Wrong or missing details are the usual cause of trouble. If the passenger count or the luggage turns out to be larger than what you told us, the vehicle arranged may not be suitable and we may not be able to carry everyone. Tell us as soon as plans change and we will do our best to adjust.

Service areas, and declining or rescheduling

We regularly serve Coeur d’Alene, Spokane, Hayden, Post Falls, Rathdrum and Sandpoint. Those areas are indicative rather than fixed. We can often travel further, and there are occasions when we cannot cover a run inside them.

We may decline or reschedule a journey, for example because of weather, road conditions, vehicle or driver availability, unsafe or unlawful behavior, or anything else outside our control. If that happens, we will tell you as early as we possibly can.

Transportation and rental policies are agreed separately

These website terms do not govern the transportation itself or any vehicle rental. Those are set out in the booking agreement or rental agreement that applies to your trip, and where that agreement differs from this page, the agreement is the one that counts.

That separate agreement is where you will find the terms that matter on the day, including deposits, cancellations, wait time, no shows, damage, cleaning, mileage, renter qualifications, vehicle substitutions, and deductibles. We provide the applicable agreement before service goes ahead, and we are glad to walk you through any part of it.

Self drive rentals are request based and subject to availability. Requirements are confirmed for each request, including what we need to see from a driver before a vehicle is handed over. Sending a request does not reserve a vehicle and does not guarantee that one is free on your dates.

Limits on our liability

We take timing seriously and we build in room for traffic, but no car service can promise that a journey will never be delayed. We are not responsible for knock on costs that follow a delay, or a journey we had to decline or reschedule, such as a missed flight, a missed event or a lost reservation.

Please keep your belongings with you. We are not responsible for items left behind in a vehicle, although we will always do our best to get them back to you.

Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Website content and photography

The text, photography, logos and layout on this site are the property of RoadStars Ventures LLC. Please do not copy them, republish them or use them for another business without asking us first. Ask, and we are usually glad to help.

Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, and any dispute arising from them will be handled there.

We may update these terms as the business changes. The date shown at the top of this page is the authoritative one, and the version published here is the version that applies.
